A gluten free treat for the weekend


Banana and flax seed bread 🍌

Ingredients

3 ripe bananas

2 eggs beaten

125g organic butter

250g ground almonds

1 heaped teaspoon Cinnamon

2 tablespoons honey

Handful of flax seeds

Handful of poppy seeds •Pre-heat oven 180 degrees

•Peel and mash bananas in a bowl

•Add cinnamon and honey

•In a separate bowl beat butter until creamy.

•Add 1 egg at a time to butter and beat well.

•Add banana to butter mixture in stages and ground almonds, stirring between each addition.

•Add handful of flax seeds and poppy seeds and stir. •Put mixture in a greased cake tin and bake for 1 hour.
